The Royal Marines Association was formed
in 1946 to help Royal Marines resettle and find jobs after the War, and allow them to maintain contact with the Corps. Its
object is to maintain and promote 'esprit de corps' and comradeship amongst all Royal Marines by keeping them in touch
with one another and with the activities of the Corps. Also to recommend any case of hardship or distress in which financial
assistance might be sought from the Royal Marines Benevolent Fund, the Royal Naval Benevolent Trust or other appropriate organisations
and to support and maintain contact with such other charities which benefit Royal Marines, their families and dependants.
